2008 Scottish Open 2nd round betting preview
As the 2008 Scottish Open enters the second day of competition, golf fans can look forward to exploiting a wide range of exciting betting opportunities at William Hill.
Some interesting odds are on offer in the outright winner betting markets, where overnight co-leader Alexander Hansen is priced at 80/1 with three days remaining in the tournament. While it seems unlikely that Hansen will hold onto his lead, an each way bet on him would pay out 20/1 if he places.
Thongchai Jaidee, who hit 7 birdies in the first round of play, has been priced far shorter than his co-leader. Jaidee is priced 18/1 to hang onto his lead and achieve an impressive win at the 2008 Scottish Open. An each way bet on Thai player will pay out 9/2 if he finsihed the tournament placed.
3 ball betting opportunities are available in abundance today, allowing golf fans to bet on mini match-ups between all the tournament players. One of the choice 3 ball betting markets looks to be the one featuring top golfers Ian Poulter, Angel Cabrera and Niclas Fasth.
Cabrera looks to be on top of his game and is priced at 11/8 in his 3 ball, while Poulter will pay out 7/4 if he shoots the best score. Fasth will pay out at 21/10 if he dominates his rivals in the 3 ball.
